The EBSF_2 London demonstration has been shortlisted in the category’ Most Innovative Transport Project’, a category for projects that stand out as being different - either the first of its kind in London, or a project that has been done before but has been approached differently. The winner will be announced at the awards ceremony on Thursday 1st March, Riverbank Park Plaza, London.
The London Transport awards are supported by Transport for London, London Councils, London Travel Watch and London First and recognise excellence in transport and reward innovation and progress for transport initiatives which are really working in London.
The EBSF_2 consortium is glad to invite you to the Project’s Final Conference in Vienna on 18 April 2018. The all-day event will showcase the solutions and technological innovations tested within the 12 project’s test sites and give participants the opportunity to discuss the results with the demonstrations’ working teams.
The conference takes place at the Courtyard by Marriott Vienna Prater/Messe located on Trabrennstrasse 4, 1020 Vienna, Austria.
The Predictive Maintenance System for bus fleet developed and tested within the EBSF_2 Ravenna demonstration was presented at the TRB Annual Meeting in Washington on 9 January 2018.
The EBSF_2 Gothenburg demonstration team cordially invites you to the demo event taking place in Gothenburg, Sweden, on Wednesday 24 January starting at 9:30am. The event takes place at Chalmers Virtual Development Laboratory, Johanneberg Campus, and is hosted by Chalmers.

The EBSF_2 San Sebastian and Madrid demonstration teams held on 29 November 2017 an event to showcase the green driver assistance systems EKOBUS and NONVIS. The event was hosted by San Sebastian demonstration leader CEIT-IK4 and local operator Dbus, together with Madrid demonstration leader TEKIA.
In the demonstrator of San Sebastian, two driving assistance systems have been analyzed, with the aim of reducing fuel consumption and improving passenger comfort:
UITP-Busworld International Bus Conference (23-25 October in Kortrijk, Belgium) culminated with Research & Innovation Day: ZeEUS and other Bus Projects. The event gathered more than 200 stakeholders from EU institutions, industry, academia, and other professionals from the transport sector.
The seventh EBSF_2 demonstration showcase took place in Stuttgart on 18 October 2017 and attracted over 30 public transport stakeholders, to exchange knowledge and experience on innovative HVAC for city buses. The event was hosted by EvoBus GmbH in in collaboration with local operator and demonstration partner Stuttgarter Straßenbahnen AG.
